Fireworks to Cap Off Elk RiverFest on July 7, No Fireworks on July 4

Independence Day celebrations don’t end on July 4 in our community – we’re keeping the fun going with the new Elk RiverFest celebration on Saturday, July 7 in downtown Elk River. Different from years past, there will be NO fireworks on July 4, however after a full evening of family fun on July 7, Elk RiverFest will conclude with an amazing fireworks display starting at 10 p.m. The fireworks will be launched from Elk River High School, visible from downtown, but event organizers believe Lion John Weicht Park, located at 1104 Lions Park Drive, will offer spectators the best vantage point for the show.

Since the City of Elk River will not host a fireworks display on July 4, here are a few options for you and your family in some other communities; Coon RapidsBlaineMinneapolis, and St. Cloud.

Do you know of any other July 4 fireworks shows? Share them with us by on our Facebook page! We’ll see you on July 7 for #ElkRiverFest2018. Full event details found here.
