In this very informative presentation you will learn about the current peer reviewed scientific data from climate scientists. In the first half of the presentation our current crisis and it’s economic, social, and financial impact on humanity will be talked about. The last part the presenters will talk about current solutions that are available for humanity to use to mitigate climate change. The presentation will be about 40 minutes long and is non-political. Questions and discussions are welcome after the presentation.
About the presenters:
Lea Iverson, retired math educator from Elk School District
Vern Iverson, retired research and development scientist from Medtronic, Inc.
Both presenters have received training from the Climate Reality Project which is the leading climate action group founded by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Al Gore. Vern and Lea have also made more than 40 presentations to science classes, climate organizations, faith communities, and at the MPCA Eco Experience at Minnesota State Fair.
