The Library Board is responsible for library building-related items including cleaning services, utilities, repair, and maintenance of the building. It is the responsibility of the Library Board to promote the best possible use of all library resources. The Great River Regional Library System pays for books, educational materials, and wages for the library employees. The Library Board meets quarterly on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in January, April, July, and October at the Elk River Library. The Library Board consists of five members who hold a term of office for three years.
