Riverfront Concert Series
One of Elk River's most popular summer events is the Riverfront Concert Series, sponsored by The Bank of Elk River and hosted by Parks and Recreation. These free concerts are on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. starting June 20 through August 22 at the beautiful Rivers Edge Commons Park. Check out the upcoming concert schedule here.
Entertainment in the Park
Each summer Parks and Recreation hosts a series of free community performances geared toward younger audiences at Orono Park. The series begins June 13, 2019 and runs through August 8 every Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. Check out the entertainment schedule here.
Elk RiverFest 2019
Mark your calendar for Elk RiverFest on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in beautiful downtown Elk River. Complete with a Kids Fun Zone, vendor booths, Food Alley, Sips on Main (beer and wine tasting), live music, and fireworks, Elk RiverFest has something for the entire family. Safety Camp 2019 is set for July 17 - you won't want to miss this great opportunity to teach kids how to stay safe and keep their cool in all types of situations. The day is complete with interactive games, hands-on experiences and sessions taught by a variety of safety experts including police, fire, utilities, ambulance, county and city officials, and more! Parks and Recreation hosts a farmers market from mid-June through the beginning of October in the heart of Elk River at the downtown Park Plaza lot located at 716 and 720 Main Street. The farmers market has live music as well as special guests and promotions throughout the season. Night to Unite
Save the date for the 2019 Night to Unite (NTU) on August 6! This annual event offers residents a unique opportunity to get to know their neighbors, chat with local law enforcement officials, and ultimately build a safer community. For over 20 years, Elk River neighborhoods have organized Night to Unite block-parties, and last year 56 gatherings were held city-wide. Read more or register here.
