Outdoor Skating Rinks
When winter settles in, lace up your skates or grab a hockey stick to take advantage of our outdoor rinks. The city maintains several outdoor rinks as weather permits. We reserve the right to close rinks whenever we feel it is in the best interest and safety of the participants. For up-to-date information, call the Weather Hot Line at 763.635.1160. Warming houses are located at Lions Park and Handke Stadium. Both parks offer skating/hockey rinks and sledding hills.

Handke Warming House Hours:
The Handke Warming House is now closed for the 2016-2017 season. However, the skating rink at Handke Pit will be maintained as long as weather permits.

Lion John Weicht Park Warming House Hours:
Lion John Weicht Park Warming House is now closed for the 2016-2017 season. However, the skating rink at Lions Park will be maintained as long as weather permits.

Public Skating Rinks - No Warming Houses
The city maintains several unsupervised general skating rinks in area neighborhood parks.
